Wellfab has efficiently completed the 3D design and installation of a complete 500KW capacity biogas plant at Toronto Zoo in a span of 6 months. The 500KW plant will produce a third of Zoo’s electricity demand and will reduce CO2 emissions by 10,000 tonnes.
The project included the installation of pipe sizes ranging from 12’’ to 1⁄2’’ (Stainless Steel, HDPE, carbon steel) and the big components like pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, electrical panels, etc. which were efficiently managed and completed within the given timeframe.
